Job Title: Metal, Steel, Aluminium with Glass & Construction Worker

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Metal, Steel, Aluminium with Glass & Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, welding, and construction work, with a strong focus on quality and safety. You will be responsible for various tasks related to building structures, installing metal components, and ensuring that construction projects are completed according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, bending, and shaping metal materials.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements of each project.

• Install and assemble metal structures and components on construction sites, including beams, columns, and supports.

• Operate various machinery and tools, such as welding equipment, drills, saws, and grinders.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other construction workers, project managers, and engineers to complete projects efficiently and on time.

• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Assist in general construction tasks, including site preparation, demolition, and material handling.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and general construction work.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficient in using welding equipment, power tools, and machinery.

• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and regulations.

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle heavy materials.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in welding, construction, or metalworking is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.

• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
